Reader’s notes
p. 211. Twelve columns: stub, Total elections, then Number/Percent pairs under five spanner headings. The decimal points in every Percent cell are very faint in this scan (they read as a gap, e.g. "8 6"); they are transcribed as decimal points because the figures are one-decimal percentages and each one is consistent with Number divided by Total elections (e.g. 672/7,789 = 8.6). The stub heading cell is blank apart from a stray ink mark at the left edge. Leader dots after "All representation elections", "Consent elections" and "Board-directed elections" were dropped. "By type of case" and "By type of election" are section labels with no values. Column totals are internally consistent: 6,694 + 221 + 874 = 7,789 and 285 + 5,977 + 18 + 1,490 + 19 = 7,789. In the Board-directed elections row the Total objections Number (5) is small relative to the 3 + 2 components and matches as printed; nothing appears misprinted.
