Reader’s notes

p. 210. 17 columns: a stub plus four panels (All R, RC, RM, RD) of four columns each, all four panels headed "Elections conducted". The indented "Rerun required" / "Runoff required" sub-rows carry a value only in the "Resulting in a rerun or runoff" column of each panel; all their other cells are blank in the print (many hold only stray leader dots, transcribed as ""). The sub-rows are breakdowns of the line above them, not additional totals. The marker ^1 is printed only on the All R elections "Resulting in certification" heading; the same heading in the RC, RM and RD panels is unmarked. "Regional director-directed" row: its first sub-row is printed as "Rerun required." — the trailing dot is a leader dot and was dropped. "Expedited—sec 8(b)(7)(C)": there is a wider-than-normal gap between "sec" and "8", which may be a faded period ("sec."); no period is legible at this resolution, so the label is given without one. Scanning artifacts: the font renders many dotted i's as dotless (e.g. "Stipulated", "certification"), and faint stray dots appear in several blank cells; these were read as ordinary letters and leader dots respectively. All internal arithmetic checks out (components sum to panel totals, section rows sum to "All types", and RC+RM+RD equals All R in every column), which supports the digit readings.
