0 of 13 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 204. Decimal points in the "Percent of total closed" column are mostly dropped by this 1-bit scan, so the values print as "100 0", "26 4", "8 0", "4 8", "32 7", "15 2", etc. The point is clearly visible only in "35.4" (Agreement of the parties row). I have restored the decimal point in every cell of that column, which is the obvious typesetting (one decimal place throughout) and is confirmed arithmetically: the four method groups sum to 401 cases and to 100.0 percent, and each group's indented stage lines sum to its group total (Agreement 106+32+4=142 / 26.4+8.0+1.0=35.4; Withdrawal 131+11+0+0=142 / 32.7+2.7+0.0+0.0=35.4; Dismissal 61+5+0+32=98 / 15.2+1.2+0.0+8.0=24.4). No value was otherwise altered. The scan is a degraded facsimile in which most periods and some dots render faintly (e.g. the heading "Method and stage of disposition" and words such as "disposition", "hearing", "dismissal" show broken i-dots); this affects legibility of punctuation only, not of the digits, all of which are crisp. The three indented "After opening of 10(k) hearing, before issuance of Board decision and determination of dispute" rows each wrap onto two printed lines and are transcribed as single rows. The dash in "Agreement of the parties—informal settlement" is an em dash as printed. The four unindented group labels (Agreement of the parties—informal settlement, Compliance with Board decision and determination of dispute, Withdrawal, Dismissal) each carry their own values and are set off by horizontal rules; "Compliance with Board decision and determination of dispute" has no indented sub-lines. No footnotes are printed under the table.
