The crop is cut off at the bottom in mid-table: Delaware, Maryland and District of Columbia are the first three states of the South Atlantic division, whose remaining states and subtotal row continue below the crop, as do any further divisions and the national total. No footnote text is visible on this crop, although the stub heading carries a raised "1" marker (transcribed as "Division and State^1"); the text of footnote 1 presumably appears at the foot of the full page. Illinois, last column ("Eligible employees in units choosing representation"): the scan shows a stray ink mark immediately before the figure, so it reads like "l12,359". It is transcribed as 12,359, which is confirmed by the East North Central subtotal in that column (8,217 + 3,759 + 12,359 + 7,328 + 3,575 = 35,238, the printed subtotal). As a check on column alignment, all sixteen numeric columns of each state were summed against the four division subtotal rows printed on this crop (New England, Middle Atlantic, East North Central, West North Central); every one of the 64 subtotals agrees exactly with the printed figure, so no transcribed value appears to be misplaced or misread. No internal inconsistencies or suspected misprints were found. Running-head text from the facing page bleeds into the right margin of the scan but is not part of the table.

p. 294. Continuation page: no column headings are printed on this crop, so header_rows is empty. The grid has 17 columns (stub + 16 numeric). The table is cut at the top mid-region: the South Atlantic block begins on the previous page (Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia are not on this crop), so the printed "South Atlantic" subtotal is larger than the sum of the six states shown here. Every other region subtotal equals the sum of its member states as transcribed, and the internal column identities hold in every row (cols 3-6 sum to col 2; col 2 + col 7 = col 1; cols 11-14 sum to col 10; col 10 + col 15 = col 9), which confirms the column assignment of each value. The scan drops the dots over many lowercase i's in the stub (it renders as "Mıssıssıppı", "Arızona", "Calıfornia", "Hawaıı", "Vırgın Islands"); these are transcribed with the normal spellings. Leader dots and the stray spacing periods after state names were dropped as instructed. In the footnote, "U S Department of Commerce" is printed without clearly visible periods after U and S (the same dot loss affecting the stub); it is almost certainly "U.S." in the original.
