p. 279. Nine columns: an unlabelled stub plus four two-column party panels (Total, By employer, By union, By both parties), each split into Number and "Percent by type". Decimal points: in this scan the period in the percent columns is frequently dropped or reduced to a blank, so many cells image as "100 0", "41 5", "43 2", "24 1", "65 6", "47 2", "81 8", "2 5", etc., while others ("56.0", "80.0", "57.9") show the period clearly. I have transcribed all of these as one-decimal percentages, which is what the column is typeset to carry. This reading is corroborated by arithmetic: in every body row the employer, union and both-parties percentages sum to exactly 100.0 (e.g. 41.5+56.0+2.5; 43.2+55.0+1.8; 24.1+65.6+10.3; 47.2+49.1+3.7; 9.1+81.8+9.1). No digits were inferred — only the position of the decimal separator. Number columns are fully consistent as printed: 1,161+20+100 = 1,281 and 29+914+5+322+11 = 1,281; employer 502+1+28 = 531 and 7+369+2+152+1 = 531; union 638+16+64 = 718 and 19+529+3+158+9 = 718; both parties 21+3+8 = 32 and 3+16+0+12+1 = 32. No misprints detected. "By type of case" and "By type of election" are section labels with no values. The second is followed by a small mark that is most likely a colon rendered as a single dot; I have omitted the trailing punctuation rather than guess at it. "By type of case" carries no such mark. A stray ink dot sits in the blank right-hand part of the stub cell on the "RC cases" row; it is a printing artifact, not a footnote marker or a value, and is not transcribed. "Regional director-directed elections" wraps onto two printed lines ("Regional director-directed" / "elections") and is joined here; the hyphen in "director-directed" is a true hyphen, not an end-of-line break. Terminal periods on both footnotes are absent or too faint to confirm, so none is supplied. The raised marker on the "By both parties" heading is small and could read as 2 or 3; it is transcribed as 2, matching the second footnote, whose text (objections by more than one party counted as one) is the one that applies to that column.
