p. 253. The table has 8 printed columns: the stub, "Total", and six columns under the spanning heading "Identification of filing party". The stub column has no printed heading, and "Total" is a tall single heading spanning both heading levels, so it is repeated in each level. The first block of five rows (Pending October 1, 1979 through Pending September 30, 1980) carries no printed section label; it is the all-cases panel implied by the caption. The five section labels that do appear ("Unfair labor practice cases 2", "Representation cases 3", "Union-shop deauthorization cases", "Amendment of certification cases", "Unit clarification cases") are printed centered across the value columns rather than in the stub; they are transcribed as label-only rows in the stub column. In the "Union-shop deauthorization cases" block, only the Total and Individuals columns carry values; the AFL-CIO unions, Teamsters, Other national unions, Other local unions and Employers cells are genuinely blank on the page (not leader dots or dashes). The scan is a clean 1-bit image but drops many small punctuation marks: terminal periods in the footnotes are faint or invisible, and I have written them as the sentence structure requires. Likewise, several row labels read "Pendmg"/"Receıved"/"Indıvıd-uals" in the scan because the dots on the letter i are lost; I have transcribed the intended spellings. A stray ink dot sits to the right of the label "Closed fiscal 1980" in the final (Unit clarification) block, and a stray tick mark appears above the right-hand end of the "Unfair labor practice cases" section line and in the "Amendment of certification cases" rule; these are scan artifacts, not footnote markers, and are not transcribed. No arithmetic was altered. As a check only: every data row's six filing-party cells sum exactly to its printed Total, and the five case-type blocks sum exactly to the corresponding row of the first block, in all 25 instances. No misprints detected.
