Reader’s notes
p. 306. Eight columns: stub plus six data columns under three single headings (Objections filed / withdrawn / ruled upon) and two spanner headings (Overruled, Sustained^2), each spanning Number and Percent of total ruled upon. The stub column carries no printed heading, so cell 0 of both heading levels is empty. Periods reproduce very faintly in this scan: the decimal points in the percent columns appear as gaps (e.g. "82 6", "17 4", "100 0") and sentence-ending periods in the footnotes are nearly invisible. I have transcribed them as decimal points and periods; every percent is consistent with Number/Objections ruled upon (683/827 = 82.6, 144/827 = 17.4, 21/23 = 91.3, etc.), which confirms the decimal placement. All internal totals check out: the RC/RM/RD rows and the five type-of-election rows each sum to the "All representation elections" line in all six columns (990, 163, 827, 683, 144). "Regional director-directed elections" is printed on two lines ("Regional director-directed" / "elections") and joined here as one row label; likewise "All representation elections". A stray ink mark sits above the "0" in the Objections withdrawn column of the Expedited elections row; it is not a footnote marker attached to a value, and the value is 0.
