0 of 16 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 298. Six printed columns: stub, Total, and four petitioner columns. The stub column has no printed heading. "Total" is a tall heading occupying the full depth of the header block, so it is repeated in all three heading levels. The spanner rule beneath "Number of cases" appears to begin at the vertical rule to the right of the Total column (i.e. over Employer/Union/Courts/State boards only), and the heading is centered over those four columns, so "Number of cases" is recorded as spanning the four petitioner columns rather than also covering Total; if the original intent was for it to span Total as well, that cell assignment would be the only change. All printed figures are internally consistent (row components sum to the stated totals; 2 + 9 = 11 on docket, 11 - 10 = 1 pending). The footnote marker 1 appears only on the caption, which is excluded per instructions.
