Reader’s notes
p. 296. Twelve columns: stub, "Total proceedings", two columns under the spanner "Injunction Proceedings", "Total dispositions", six columns under the spanner "Disposition of Injunctions", and "Pending in district court Sept. 30, 1978". The stub column has no printed heading, so cell 0 of both heading levels is empty; "Total proceedings", "Total dispositions" and the final "Pending in district court Sept. 30, 1978" are tall single headings spanning both levels and are repeated in each. Scan quality: in the first body row the printed "Under sec. 10(e), total" shows a degraded "e" that can read as "o"; the table caption ("Under Section 10(e), (j), and (l)") and the section order confirm it is 10(e). The heading "Inactive" likewise shows a broken "n" in the scan. No other label is doubtful. Every column was cross-checked against the printed totals and all reconcile exactly: for sec. 10(j) the 17 detail rows sum to the printed total row in all 11 numeric columns, and the same holds for the 13 detail rows under sec. 10(l). Within each total row, "Pending Oct 1" + "Filed" equals "Total proceedings", the six disposition columns sum to "Total dispositions", and "Total proceedings" minus "Total dispositions" equals "Pending Sept. 30". No misprints detected. No footnotes are printed under the table.
