p. 295. 23 columns: stub, two total columns, then five Number/Percent pairs (Fiscal Year 1978 and Cumulative 1973-1977) for each of the five disposition groups. Decimal points: in this 1-bit scan the decimal point of many percent values has dropped out, so cells print as e.g. "65 5", "76 8", "5 0" with a gap where the period belongs. Every percent column carries one decimal place throughout (and clearly inked periods appear in the same rows, e.g. "66.7", "70.7", "14.8", "14.3"), so I have transcribed these with the decimal point restored. No digits were altered. Doubtful cell: row "1. Boston, Mass.", Affirmed in full / Cumulative fiscal years 1973-1977 / Percent. I read the degraded last digit as 8, giving 76.8, but 45/59 = 76.3, and with 76.8 that row's cumulative percentages sum to 100.5 instead of 100.0. The glyph is consistent with either 8 or 3; arithmetic favours 3. All other numbers in the table are internally consistent: every circuit's Number cells add to its row total, each row's percentages sum to 100.0, and the circuit figures add to the "Total all circuits" line in all twelve numeric columns. Row-label punctuation: the periods after the item numbers (3, 4, 5, 6, 8) and the periods inside/after the state abbreviations ("N.Y", "D C") are largely lost to the scan or absorbed by the leader dots. I have written them in the conventional form used elsewhere in the stub ("1.", "2.", "7.", "9.", "10.", "Mass.", "Calif."). The last row, Washington, D.C., carries no item number in the original. Percent cells printed as a dash rule next to a zero count are given as "" per instruction. The caption's footnote marker (superscript 1) is attached to the omitted caption, not to any grid cell.
