Section line: the centred line reads "A All representation elections"; a period after the "A" is not legible in this scan (the gap suggests one may be present), so it is transcribed without one. This crop therefore shows only panel A of the table; panel B (and any later panels) continue on following pages. Row labels: the printed labels alternate between "v" and "v." for the versus abbreviation — e.g. "AFL-CIO v AFL-CIO v. national", "AFL-CIO v national v. local" show a period while most others do not. They are transcribed exactly as they appear; the inconsistency is almost certainly lost periods in the scan rather than real typesetting variation. "Total Valid votes cast" and the stub "Participating unions" are tall headings spanning all three heading levels; each "Total votes for no union" is a tall heading spanning levels 2-3 and sits inside its own "Valid votes cast in elections won/lost" span (a double rule separates the won block from the lost block after the first "Total votes for no union"). Arithmetic check: every row (components summing to the row's total valid votes) and every column (the three subtotal lines summing to "Total RC elections") reconciles exactly as printed. No misprints found in the figures. Punctuation in row labels: the scan is faint and drops most periods after "v". The period is clearly visible in a few places ("Teamsters v. local", "AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO v. Teamsters", "AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO v local", "AFL-CIO v. national v local") and absent elsewhere, which indicates the original prints "v." throughout and the scan has lost the rest. I have transcribed "v." uniformly; if a strictly literal rendering of the visible ink is wanted, most of these would read "v" with no period. Section line: printed as "B" followed by a gap and "Elections in R C cases". I read it as "B. Elections in RC cases" (the period after B and the tight setting of "RC" are consistent with the series convention); the period after "B" is not clearly legible at this resolution. Doubtful cell: row "AFL-CIO v. national v. local", column "Other national unions" under "Valid votes cast in elections lost" — this cell is printed as a dash rule (transcribed "") even though a national union participated and the parallel "won" cell carries 4. The adjacent "Other local unions" lost cell is 0. Since the row's lost total is 0, this does not affect any sum, but the dash may be a setting slip for a printed 0. Crop: the page continues a table begun earlier (section A is not on this image); the caption, any "—Continued" line and the page number are outside the crop. Two small ink specks appear in the right margin outside the table rules; they are not footnote markers. No footnotes are printed under the table on this page.

The grid has 14 columns (stub + 13 value columns), counted from the column rules and confirmed by the four total rows. "C Elections in RM cases" and "D. Elections in RD cases" are centered section banners spanning the data area; they are transcribed as label-only rows. The "C" banner is printed without a period after the letter; the "D." banner has one. Both banners read "in" in the scan with a dotless i (a scan artifact of this 1-bit print), transcribed as "in". Cells printed as a dash rule (leader dashes) are transcribed as "". Printed zeros are kept as 0; note the table is inconsistent about dash-vs-zero in non-applicable cells (e.g. in section C, "Teamsters v Teamsters" has a dash in col 3 but a printed 0 in col 9). Doubtful cell: in the "AFL-CIO v AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO v AFL-CIO" row (section D, 3-union block), the row label wraps onto two printed lines and an isolated "0" is printed on the UPPER line at roughly the horizontal position of column 10 (the column holding 1,237 in the "Total RD elections" row). On the lower line, where that row's values are set, columns 10, 11 and 12 all carry dash rules, symmetric with the three dash rules in columns 4-6. A transcriber wanting the literal mark would put "0" in column 10 of that row. Verification: every printed subtotal and total cross-foots exactly in all 13 value columns — "1-union elections", "2-union elections", "3(or more) union elections", "Total RM elections" (= 1-union + 2-union) and "Total RD elections" (= 1-union + 2-union + 3-or-more) all agree with the detail rows as transcribed. No misprints detected. Row-label punctuation after "v" is inconsistent in the original (some have a period, some do not) and is at the limit of legibility at this scan resolution; I transcribed each as it appeared, but the presence or absence of a period on any individual label is low-confidence and carries no data meaning.
