p. 252. Eight columns: an unheaded stub plus Total and the six filing-party columns. The stub column carries no printed heading, so cell 0 of both heading levels is empty; "Total^2" is a tall single heading spanning both levels, and "Identification of filing party^2" spans the six right-hand columns. In the printed heading the first filing-party column reads "AFL-CIO unions" with an en dash after AFL and a line break before CIO; it is transcribed with a hyphen. The table is divided by seven centered section lines (CA cases, CB cases, CC cases, CD cases, CE cases, CG cases, CP cases), each carrying a label and no values; the same five row labels repeat under each section. The footnote marker 2 is attached to the word "Pending" in the first row of the CA section only ("Pending^2 October 1, 1977"); the corresponding row in the other six sections has no marker. In the CA section the second and fifth row labels read "Received" and "Pending" with a dotless i in the scan's typeface; they are normal spellings. All values were cross-checked: in every one of the 35 data rows the six filing-party figures sum exactly to the Total, pending October 1 plus received equals on docket, and on docket minus closed equals pending September 30. No misprints or illegible cells were found; nothing is cut off by the crop.
