0 of 8 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 280. Six printed columns: stub, Total, Employer, Union, Courts, State boards. "Number of cases" is a top-level spanner centred over the Total column plus the four petitioner columns (the span rule is drawn only over the subdivided part, since "Total" is a tall heading occupying the two lower levels); "Identification of petitioner" spans the four rightmost columns. The stub has no printed heading. In the row "Pending July 1, 1976" there is a small stray speck (comma- or apostrophe-like scanning artifact) just to the left of the "1" in the Employer column; it is not a digit or a footnote marker and has been omitted. Row labels end in leader dots, which have been dropped. Columns Union, Courts and State boards are all printed zeros throughout.
