p. 234. Structure: 8 columns. The stub column carries no printed heading, so cell 0 of both heading levels is empty; "Total" is a tall heading spanning both levels; "Identification of filing party" spans the six right-hand columns. Hyphenated stacked headings were rejoined (Team-sters, Individ-uals, Em-ployers); "AFL-CIO unions" is printed with an en-dash-like rule between AFL and CIO. Doubtful / defective cells: - CA block, "On docket 19TQ", Total column: printed as "16,0 6" — the third digit is broken or dropped in the scan and I cannot read it. Transcribed exactly as seen, not repaired. For the record (not entered in the cell): the row's own components (7,221+1,778+572+462+5,996+47) and the column (9,853+6,223) both give 16,076. - CA block, "Pending September 30, 1976", Individuals column: I read "3,613", but this is the one cell on the page that fails to reconcile. The column gives 5,996-2,380 = 3,616, and 3,616 is also what the printed row total 10,570 requires (the other five cells plus 3,613 sum to 10,567). So either the last digit is a misprint for 6 or I have misread a faint 6 as 3. Transcribed as read. - Every other panel reconciles exactly, both across rows and down columns. Printed oddities kept or normalized: - CC block, last row, is printed "Pending September, 30 1976" (comma after the month instead of after the day) — kept as printed; the other six panels print "Pending September 30, 1976". - CP block, second row, is printed "Received 197TQ" with an apparently superfluous 7 — kept as printed; it plainly means "19TQ" as in every other panel. - CB block, second row, appears in the scan as "Rec ived 19TQ" with the "e" lost to ink dropout; transcribed as "Received 19TQ". Several other "Received" labels likewise show degraded letterforms (e.g. "Recieved"/"Recleved"), all read as "Received". - CC block, last row, Other local unions: printed with an inter-digit gap as "2 8"; transcribed 28 (consistent with 42-14). - The sixth section line is printed with a space as "C G cases"; transcribed "CG cases". - CG block, "Received 19TQ", Other local unions: a stray speck sits just left of the figure; the value is 0. - A small stray tick appears near the right-hand rule between the CD and CE blocks, and another near the CE/CG rule; neither is a footnote marker or a value. No values carry footnote markers; the only marker on the page is the superscript 1 on the caption, which is excluded along with the caption itself.
