Miscellaneous Litigation Involving NLRB; Outcome of Proceedings in Which Court Decision Issued in Fiscal Year 1976

Ten columns: stub plus three panels of three ("Number decided", "Upholding Board position", "Contrary to Board position") under "Total—all courts", "In courts of appeals", "In district courts". These are stacked heading tiers of one table, not side-by-side panels. The last two rows are both labelled "Other" and carry identical values (2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0). This is as printed, not a duplication error on my part: the first is the residual line under "To compel NLRB to" and the second is the outdented residual line under "Action by other parties". Both are needed for the printed subtotals to add up (To compel NLRB to: 7+0+1+59+2 = 69; Action by other parties: 1+18+69+2 = 90), and every other column cross-foots as well. Scan quality is good but the 1976 print is lightly broken in places. Two cells I read from faint glyphs and confirmed against the row/column sums: "To enforce subpena" in the last column ("Contrary to Board position", district courts) prints as a smudged 0, and "To lift bankruptcy stay" in the same column is 0. "Proceeding in 10 (k) case" is printed with a space before the parenthesis, while "To review 10(k) determination" is printed without one; both are kept as set. "Take action in R Case" is printed with a capital C, unlike "Proceeding in R case" above it. All internal arithmetic checks pass: the three panel totals (appeals + district = all courts) agree in every row, the section subtotals equal the sum of their indented detail lines, and "Totals—all types" equals "NLRB-initiated actions or interventions" plus "Action by other parties". No misprints detected.
