Reader’s notes
p. 267. Twelve columns: stub plus 11 numeric. "Total proceedings", "Total dispositions" and "Pending in district court June 30, 1976" are tall headings spanning both heading levels, so they are repeated in both; "Injunction proceedings" spans the two columns "Pending in district court July 1, 1975" and "Filed in district court fiscal year 1976"; "Disposition of injunctions" spans the six columns Granted through Inactive. The stub has no printed heading, so its heading cells are empty. In the "Under sec. 10(e), total" row the Total proceedings cell is printed as a raised 1 followed by 2; transcribed as 2^1, with the marker keyed to the footnote "In Courts of Appeals." Arithmetic cross-check (not a correction, only a confidence check): the 13 detail rows under "Under sec. 10(j), total" and the 12 detail rows under "Under sec. 10(l), total" each sum exactly to their printed subtotal in all 11 numeric columns. No misprints detected. Two 10(l) stub labels are printed in an abbreviated form that is unusual but legible and transcribed exactly as printed: "8(b)(4)(D), 7(A)" and "8(b)(4)(D), 4(B)" (the second element apparently standing for 8(b)(7)(A) and 8(b)(4)(B) respectively). No part of the table appears cut off by the crop.
