Reader’s notes

p. 236. Three columns: stub plus "Number of cases" and "Percent of total closed"; a single heading level is printed. Faint decimal points: in several percent cells the decimal point did not print clearly in this scan and reads as a gap ("40 4", "39 3", "33 9", "2 4", "3 0", "0 7"). These are one-decimal percentages, so they are transcribed as 40.4, 39.3, 33.9, 2.4, 3.0 and 0.7 respectively. In the Withdrawal section, the row "After opening of 10(k) hearing, before issuance of Board decision and determination of dispute" has a printed 0 under "Number of cases" and a dash rule under "Percent of total closed", transcribed as "". Small stray dash-like marks appear in the "Number of cases" column immediately left of 18 (Agreement section) and of 13 (Withdrawal section), and a short dash sits in the blank band above the "Dismissal" line; these are scan artifacts, not printed values or footnote markers. All printed figures are internally consistent: 152+18+3=173, 145+10+0+13=168, 49+3+2+8=62, and 173+25+168+62=428; the percent column likewise sums to 40.4+5.8+39.3+14.5=100.0. The footnote line at the bottom is clipped by the crop — only the upper half of the letters is visible — but it is legible as the standard "1 See Glossary for definitions of terms."; the matching superscript 1 is on the caption, which is excluded.
