Reader’s notes
p. 243. Decimal points: the scan drops most periods in the percent columns (printed as "100 0", "52 8", "38 0", etc.), while a few survive ("47.2", "47.4"). All percent cells are one-decimal values, so I have written the decimal point in every such cell; no digits were altered. Blank percent cells: where a percent is printed as a dash rule ("------") it is given as "" — these are RM cases/Union certified, RM cases/Outcome reversed, and all four percent cells of the Expedited elections row. The Expedited row's four Number cells are printed zeros and are transcribed as 0. Internal inconsistency as printed: the "By type of election" block sums to 178 in the Total rerun elections column and to 67 in the Outcome of original election reversed column, both matching the "All representation elections" line, but it sums to 56 in the Union certified column (printed total 84) and 122 in the No union chosen column (printed total 94). The individual rows are internally consistent (e.g. Stipulated 40 + 88 = 128), so this appears to be an error in the source, most likely in the Stipulated elections row; values are transcribed exactly as printed. Also as printed, No union chosen for Stipulated elections is 68.7 where 88/128 = 68.75 would round to 68.8. Stub heading: no stub heading is printed, so cell 0 of both heading levels is "". "By type of election" appears without a trailing colon, unlike "By type of case:"; if a colon was printed it is not legible in the scan. Footnote 1 ends "definitions of terms" with no legible period, and footnote 2's sentence-ending periods and the periods in "i.e.," are not resolved in the scan; I have restored them for readability without changing any wording. The footnote-1 marker also appears in the caption, which is omitted per instructions.
