p. 252. 12 columns: stub + 5 "Number of proceedings" + 4 "Percentages" + 2 cumulative. The stub column has no printed heading, so cell 0 of each header level is "". Period dropout: this is a 1-bit scan in which many printed periods failed to render. Decimal points are visible in some cells of a column ("100.0", "9.5", "1.4", "14.9", "59.2", "0.5") and absent in others of the same column ("100 0", "76 0", "83 3", "62 2"), which shows the periods are present in the print and lost by the scan. I have therefore written every percentage cell with its decimal point, and likewise restored "U.S." in the two "Proceedings decided by..." stub labels (footnote 3 renders "415 U.S. 104" with its periods intact). Column headings: the abbreviation for "versus" renders inconsistently. In the "Percentages" group the first subheading is spelled out as "Versus employers only", while the other five subheadings in both groups show only a capital "V" — with a visible period in "V. both employers and unions" under "Number of proceedings" and no visible period on the rest. I transcribed all five abbreviated headings as "V." for consistency; a reader wanting the literal glyphs should know the periods are visible on only one of them. Row "Board orders partially affirmed and partially remanded", column "V. both employers and unions": the cell prints as "0." with a trailing period (likely a stray mark or a dropped-out rule); transcribed as "0". Row "Proceedings decided by U.S. courts of appeals": the four percentage columns and both cumulative columns carry dash rules, transcribed as "". Arithmetic check (not applied to the cells, which are as printed): every row and column total in the table is internally consistent — 298+20=318; 262+50+2+4=318; the five "review and/or enforcement" detail rows sum to 298/250/42/2/4; the three contempt rows sum to 20/12/8; the eight Supreme Court rows sum to 6/5/1; cumulative 3,544+983+245+78+847=5,697 and 122+15+33+17+16+1+1+1=206; and each percentage column sums to 100.0. The one soft spot is the cumulative Percent of "Board orders affirmed with modification" under the Supreme Court, printed 7.2 where 15/206 rounds to 7.3 — transcribed as printed, and it is what makes that column sum to exactly 100.0.
