"Total votes for no union" is also a tall heading spanning the second and third levels within each of the won/lost blocks. Doubtful cell: row "AFL-CIO v AFL-CIO v. Teamsters", column "Valid votes cast in elections lost / Votes for unions / AFL-CIO unions". The glyph is broken in the scan and reads like a capital C; it is almost certainly a damaged printed 0 (the Total-lost and Teamsters-lost cells in that row are both 0, and the "(3 or more) union elections" subtotal of 260 for that column equals 65+0+166+0+0+29+0+0+0). Transcribed as 0. Punctuation after the "v" in the versus-rows is inconsistent in the original (some "v.", some bare "v"); it is transcribed as it appears, but the periods are faint in this scan and a few could be present or absent contrary to what is given. All arithmetic was checked and is internally consistent: every row's component columns sum to its Total columns, and the 1-union, 2-union, (3 or more) union and grand-total lines sum correctly down every one of the 13 numeric columns. No misprints detected. Only section A ("A. All representation elections") appears on this crop; the table presumably continues with a section B on the following page. The caption, running head and page number were excluded per instructions. No footnotes are printed under the table on this image.

p. 240. No column headings are printed on this crop — it is a continuation panel of a table whose headings appear on the preceding page — so header_rows is empty. The table has 14 columns (stub + 13 numeric), counted from the column rules; the stub is separated by a double rule, and the final column stands alone after another rule. "B. Elections in RC cases" is printed centred above the table's top rule; it is transcribed as a section line carrying a label and no values. Section A presumably appears earlier in the source table. Cells shown as a dash rule ("------") are transcribed as "". Printed zeros are kept as 0 (several rows in the 3-or-more-union block are printed 0 rather than left blank). Row-label punctuation as printed: row 18 reads "AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO v Teamsters" (a period after the first "v" only) and row 27 reads "National v local v. local" (period on the second "v" only); all other "v" separators are printed without a period. These inconsistencies are reproduced as they appear, but at this scan resolution a stray speck versus a true period is hard to distinguish for those two labels. The label "AFL-CIO v AFL-CIO v local" carries a stray diagonal mark over the second "v" in the scan, which I read as a printing/scan artifact rather than punctuation. In "AFL-CIO v AFL-CIO v national", the entry in the 11th numeric column renders ambiguously between "0" and "G"; it is read as 0, which is supported by that column's total (0 for the 3-or-more block). As a check on column placement, every additive relation in the table holds exactly as transcribed: each of the four 1-union rows, all ten 2-union rows and all eleven 3-or-more rows sum to their printed subtotal in all 13 columns, the three subtotals sum to "Total RC elections" in all 13 columns, and within rows the component columns sum to their group columns (e.g. 4,198 + 4,802 = 9,000 and 1,560 + 1,566 = 3,126 on "AFL-CIO v Teamsters"). No printed value appears to be a misprint.

The caption carries footnote marker 1, but no footnote text is printed within this crop, so `footnotes` is empty. Column structure: 14 columns — stub, "Total valid votes cast", then six columns under "Valid votes cast in elections won" (Total, AFL-CIO unions, Teamsters, Other national unions, Other local unions, Total votes for no union) and the same six under "Valid votes cast in elections lost". Doubtful cells: (1) In row "Teamsters v. national", the "Total valid votes cast" cell is printed with a small tick/speck immediately before the digits ('39); I read it as 39, which is confirmed by the 2-union-elections subtotal of 576 (267+19+17+141+39+59+34=576), so the mark is scanning debris rather than a digit or footnote marker. (2) In the same row, the "Other local unions" (elections won) cell holds only a dash rule with a similar speck above it; transcribed as empty. Row labels: the period after "v" is faint or absent in the scan for "AFL-CIO v national", "AFL-CIO v local", "Teamsters v local", "Local v local" and the second "v" of "AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO v local", while it prints clearly in "AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO", "AFL-CIO v. Teamsters" and "Teamsters v. national". I transcribed "v." consistently, treating the missing periods as ink loss. The printed "AFL–CIO" uses an en dash; rendered here as "AFL-CIO". All arithmetic cross-checks pass: every data row's total valid votes equals won-for-unions + won-no-union + lost-for-unions + lost-no-union; each union-type column sums to its subtotal; and 1-union (10,686) + 2-union (576) + 3-or-more (125) = 11,387 = Total RM elections, with every other column of the total row likewise consistent. No misprints detected.

The footnote marker 1 appears only in the footnote line here; whatever it is keyed to is on an earlier page, outside the crop. The period after "v" in the versus rows is inconsistent in this worn scan: it is clearly present in "AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO", "AFL-CIO v. Teamsters", "AFL-CIO v. local" and before "Teamsters" in the 3-union row, and not visible in the other rows, which are transcribed as a bare "v"; the original very likely printed "v." throughout. The "AFL-CIO" stub in the first data row carries a small stray mark before the leader dots that I read as a scan artifact, not a footnote marker. The label "3 (or more) union elections" has a small raised dot between the 3 and the parenthesis that I also read as an artifact rather than a marker. Row labels are typographically degraded in places ("Tcamsters" for "Teamsters" in the 5th versus row); they are given in their intended spelling. All column sums were checked against the printed subtotals ("1-union elections", "2-union elections", "3 (or more) union elections") and "Total RD elections", and against the row breakdowns in columns 3-6 against column 2 and columns 9-12 against column 8; every one is internally consistent as transcribed, with no apparent misprints.
