Representation Elections in Which Objections and/or Determinative Challenges Were Ruled on in Cases Closed, Fiscal Year 1974

p. 231. 12 columns: stub, "Total elections" (a tall heading spanning both header levels), then five Number/Percent pairs. The stub column has no printed heading. Decimal points: in this scan the decimal point in every Percent value is not resolved, so the cells read as e.g. "7 7", "13 6", "18 8". These are plainly one-decimal percentages (e.g. 698/9,112 = 7.7), so they are transcribed with a decimal point. No other digits were altered. Two doubtful Percent cells, where the glyph I read does not match the value implied by the Number and Total columns: - "Consent elections", Objections only / Percent: reads "3 7" (transcribed 3.7), but 47/1,301 = 3.6. Either a misprint or a 6 that scans like a 7. - "Board-directed elections", Challenges only / Percent: reads "14 8" (transcribed 14.8), but 7/47 = 14.9. Either a misprint or a 9 that scans like an 8. Every other percentage in the table rounds correctly from the printed Number and Total elections, and all column and component sums check out (Objections only + Objections and challenges = Total objections; Challenges only + Objections and challenges = Total challenges; the three case-type rows and the five election-type rows each sum to the "All representation elections" line). Dash rules ("------") printed in place of a percentage for the "Expedited elections" row (Challenges only / Percent, Objections and challenges / Percent, Total challenges / Percent) are transcribed as empty cells; the corresponding Number cells are a printed 0. A stray typographic mark (a small dot) sits in the "Challenges only" heading block just under the word "Challenges"; it is a printing artifact, not a footnote marker, and is not transcribed.
