Reader’s notes

p. 225. Three printed columns: stub plus "Number of cases" and "Percent of total closed"; one heading level. The caption carries footnote marker 1 ("Fiscal Year 1974^1"), which is excluded with the caption; the footnote itself is transcribed. In the percent column several values print with a decimal point so faint in this scan that it reads as a blank space: "31 9", "5 1", "35 9", "2 1", "3 3", "13 6" and "0 2" (the Dismissal sub-row). I have written these as 31.9, 5.1, 35.9, 2.1, 3.3, 13.6 and 0.2, since the column is uniformly one-decimal and the components add to the printed subtotals (31.9+5.1=37.0; 35.9+2.1+0.2+3.3=41.5; 13.6+0.2+3.1=16.9), but the point is not visible in the image for those cells. The two "After opening of 10(k) hearing, before issuance of Board decision and determination of dispute" rows (under Agreement of the parties and under Dismissal) show a dash rule in the percent column, transcribed as "". All other printed totals check out: 224+28+251+102=605 and 37.0+4.6+41.5+16.9=100.0.
