Reader’s notes

p. 233. Three columns: stub plus "Number of cases" and "Percent of total closed"; a single heading level. Decimal points: in several "Percent of total closed" cells the decimal point did not print or is nearly invisible, appearing as a gap — "3 3" (Withdrawal / After 10(k) notice, before opening of 10(k) hearing), "2 8" (Withdrawal / After Board decision and determination of dispute), "11 5" (Dismissal / Before 10(k) notice) and "4 1" (Dismissal / By Board decision and determination of dispute). These are transcribed as 3.3, 2.8, 11.5 and 4.1, consistent with the one-decimal format used throughout the column; the digits themselves are clear. Four percent cells hold only a short dash rule ("----") and are transcribed as "": the two Withdrawal rows... specifically Withdrawal / After opening of 10(k) hearing..., Dismissal / After 10(k) notice, before opening of 10(k) hearing, and Dismissal / After opening of 10(k) hearing... Each of those rows has a printed 0 in the "Number of cases" column. Arithmetic as printed: the component rows under "Dismissal:" sum to 100 cases (74 + 0 + 0 + 26), matching the 100 shown, but their percents (11.5 + 4.1) do not reach the 15.6 shown; likewise Withdrawal components 217 + 21 + 0 + 18 = 256, matching. Nothing was computed or corrected. The row label "Before 10(k) notice" under "Dismissal:" shows a typographic flaw in "notice" (the i/c ligature area is smudged); the word is certainly "notice". The caption carries footnote marker 1, which is excluded per instructions; the footnote text itself is retained.
