Reader’s notes
p. 30. The crop is a bar chart (Chart No. 13), not a conventional table; what is transcribed is the data legend printed beneath the plot area, which gives the plotted values by fiscal year. The stub heading "Fiscal Year" is printed on two lines at the left of the year scale and is joined here. The row labels C and R each have a legend swatch to their left (solid black for C, horizontal hatching for R); the swatches are not transcribed. The chart title "DECISIONS ISSUED 1/ (Excludes UD, AC, and UC Decisions)" sits inside the chart frame and carries the 1/ footnote marker; it is treated as caption material and omitted from the grid. The "Totals" row is set off by a double rule above and a rule below. Every column's C + R equals the printed total, so no misprints are apparent. The running head, page number, and the surrounding body text of the page are not part of the table.
