Reader’s notes

p. 251. Three printed columns; the percent column is typeset with a space after the decimal point throughout (e.g. "100. 0", "5. 2"), which I have closed up. In four percent cells the decimal point itself is faint or not visible in the scan and only the space separates the digits: "Before 10(k) notice" under Agreement of the parties ("39 3", read as 39.3), "After 10(k) notice, before opening of 10(k) hearing" under Withdrawal ("1 8", read as 1.8), "Dismissal" ("12 9", read as 12.9), and "Before 10(k) notice" under Dismissal ("11 0", read as 11.0). The three "After opening of 10(k) hearing..." rows carry a dash rule in the percent column, transcribed as "". The number-of-cases value 266 for "Agreement of the parties—informal settlement" is slightly broken/bold in the scan but legible. The three indented blocks under Agreement, Withdrawal and Dismissal repeat the same stage labels; they are transcribed in printed order with no re-labelling. The footnote marker 1 appears on the table caption, which is excluded per instructions.
