The caption carries footnote marker 1; the single footnote line is clipped by the bottom edge of the crop and only the first few words are clearly legible — it is transcribed here as the standard wording of that recurring NLRB footnote, so the tail after "definitions of" is uncertain. Typeface note: in this scan the digit 5 is frequently rendered with a rounded bowl that resembles a 6 (e.g. "8,459", "1,578", "592,673", "519,619", "546,632", "6,518", "5,335", "59", "57"). All such readings were confirmed arithmetically: every row sums across the five election types to its Total, and every case type (RC+RM+RD+UD) sums to the "All types, total" line, in all three measures (elections, eligible voters, valid votes). No printed total disagrees with its components. The value 2 for RC cases / Elections / Expedited elections under 8(b)(7)(C) is set in a heavier face than its neighbors; it is a value, not a footnote marker (2+30+0 = 32, the printed total). In the Expedited column the UD cases block carries a dash rule on all three lines (not applicable), recorded as empty cells, whereas RD cases carries printed zeros. Small stray marks appear in the right margin beside the RD elections and eligible-voters rows, outside the table rule; they are scan artifacts, not data. Rows "All types, total", "RC cases:", "RM cases:", "RD cases:" and "UD cases:" are section labels printed without values.
