Reader’s notes

p. 175. Three columns throughout. The percent cell for the row "After opening of 10(k) hearing, before issuance of Board decision and determination of dispute" under "Agreement of the parties—informal settlement" holds only a dash rule, so it is transcribed as ""; its number-of-cases cell is a printed 0. Several printed decimals are typeset with a space after the point (e.g. "100. 0", "42. 9", "2. 6", ". 5"); these are written closed up. Values under 1 percent are printed without a leading zero (".4", ".1", ".5") and are kept as printed. Doubtful glyphs, all resolved by the table's internal arithmetic, which is fully consistent: "2.6" (Agreement / After 10(k) notice, before opening of 10(k) hearing, Percent column) could read as 2.5 in the scan, but 40.3 + 2.6 = 42.9 as printed; ".5" (Dismissal / After 10(k) notice, before opening of 10(k) hearing, Percent) is blurred toward an 8 or 6, but 12.3 + .5 + .1 + 1.3 = 14.2 as printed. "83" (Dismissal / Before 10(k) notice, Number of cases) is overstruck by a leader rule but is confirmed by 83 + 3 + 1 + 9 = 96. Component counts also sum to each section total (273+18+0=291; 222+23+3+14=262) and the four sections sum to 678, with percentages summing to 100.0. The footnote marker 1 appears on the caption line, which is excluded per instructions.
