Reader’s notes
p. 207. Twelve columns: stub plus eleven numeric columns. The stub has no printed heading. "Total proceedings", "Total dispositions" and "Pending in district court June 30, 1970" are tall single headings spanning both heading levels, so each is repeated in both rows; "Injunction proceedings" spans two columns and "Disposition of injunctions" spans six. No footnotes are printed under the table. Arithmetic check (not applied to any cell, only reported): the detail rows sum exactly to their printed section totals in all eleven numeric columns, for both the 10(j) block (11 detail rows) and the 10(l) block (12 detail rows). No misprints detected. Scan legibility: the digit 5 in the statutory row labels is printed with a flat-topped glyph that can read as a 6 at this resolution. I transcribed "8(a)(1)(2)(3)(5)", "8(a)(1)(3)(5)", "8(a)(1)(5)" and "8(b)(1)(B)(3), 8(a)(1)(5)" as 5, which is consistent with the Act's subsections 8(a)(5)/8(b)(3) refusal-to-bargain citations; these are the only labels where I have any residual doubt. The "1969" in the "Pending in district court July 1, 1969" heading is likewise slightly broken in the scan but legible. Punctuation between paired citations varies as printed and was kept verbatim: a semicolon in "8(a)(1)(2)(3); 8(b)(1)(A)(2)" and "8(b)(4)(B); 8(e)", a comma in "8(a)(1)(3), 8(b)(1)(A)(2)", "8(b)(1)(B)(3), 8(a)(1)(5)" and "8(b)(4)(A)(B), 8(e)". The detail rows are indented under their section totals in the original; indentation is not carried into the labels. Leader dots after each label were dropped. The crop shows the full table, caption to closing rule, with nothing cut off.
