p. 186. Nine columns: stub plus four Number/Percent-by-type pairs (Total, By employer, By union, By both parties). The stub column has no printed heading. Decimal points in this scan are printed as a period followed by a space (e.g. "66. 5"); these are written closed up. In several percent cells the period itself did not survive the printing/scan and appears only as a gap: "100 0" (RM cases, Total percent), "77 3" (RM cases, By union percent), "9 5" (RD cases, By both parties percent), "67 4" (Stipulated elections, By union percent), "65 2" (Regional director-directed elections, By union percent), "50 0" and "40 0" (Board-directed elections, By employer and By union percent). These are transcribed with the decimal point restored, since every other cell in those columns carries one and the values are consistent with the Number columns. The "Expedited elections" / "By employer" percent cell holds a dash rule, transcribed as "". Several digits are ambiguous between 5 and 6 in this scan (the 5 glyph is partly filled). The readings given are the ones consistent with the row arithmetic: for every row the three party Numbers sum exactly to the Total Number (e.g. 359+746+28=1,133 for RC cases; 55+138+7=200 for Consent elections), and the type-of-case and type-of-election blocks each sum to 1,207. No printed value appears to be a misprint, except that RM cases "By union" percent is printed 77.3 where 41/53 rounds to 77.4; transcribed as printed.
