Representation Elections in Which Objections and/or Determinative Challenges Were Ruled Upon in Cases Closed, Fiscal Year 1970

p. 185. Twelve columns: stub, "Total elections", then Number/Percent pairs under each of five spanner headings. The stub has no printed heading, so cell 0 of both header levels is empty; "Total elections" is a tall single heading spanning both levels and is repeated. In this scan the decimal point in many percent cells is faint or has dropped out, so the digits print with a gap (e.g. "2 9", "1 8", "10 9", "3 6", "2 0", "6 7", "21 0", "5 7", "7 4", "6. 5"). All of these are one-decimal percentages and are transcribed with the decimal point restored: 2.9, 1.8, 10.9, 3.6, 2.0, 6.7, 21.0, 5.7, 7.4, 6.5. Every one is consistent with the corresponding Number divided by Total elections, so the placement is not in doubt. The three percent cells on the "Expedited elections" row (Challenges only Percent, Objections and challenges Percent, Total challenges Percent) hold dash rules, not values, and are transcribed as empty; the Number cells beside them print a zero and are kept as "0". "By type of case:" and "By type of election:" are section labels with no values. The terminal punctuation of "By type of case:" is slightly malformed in the scan (it reads almost as a raised dot) but matches the colon on the parallel "By type of election:" line. The whole table reconciles: the by-case rows and the by-election rows each sum to the "All representation elections" line in all four count columns (7,774+356+307=8,437; 710+39+11=760; 226+19+6=251; 141+4+2=147), the Total objections and Total challenges counts equal the respective component sums in every row, and each printed percent matches its count/total to the rounding. No misprints detected.
