Reader’s notes
p. 181. 11 columns: stub plus five case-type panels (All R, RC, RM, RD, UD), each with a "Number of cases" and a "Percent of cases closed" column. Decimal points: in several percent cells the period did not survive the scan and the value is printed as, e.g., "100 0" (RC, total row), "68 1" (RM, before issuance of notice of hearing), "26 3" (RD, after issuance of notice before close of hearing) and "9 6" (RM, after issuance of regional director's decision). Every other cell in those columns is of the form x.y, and the column sums are 100.0, so these are transcribed with the decimal point restored. UD / "After hearing closed before issuance of decision": the number cell is a printed 0 and the percent cell holds only a dash rule, transcribed as "". The caption (not transcribed) carries a raised footnote marker 1 after "Fiscal Year 1970"; no footnote text is printed within this crop, so `footnotes` is empty — the note text presumably sits below the cropped area or on a facing page. All five number columns add to their printed totals and all five percent columns add to 100.0, so no misprints were detected.
