Reader’s notes

p. 35. Two printed columns: the stub of object-class labels and a single unheaded amount column. No column headings are printed on this crop; only the lower sliver of the caption line is visible at the top edge, so header_rows is empty. Footnote 1 is itself printed as an indented five-line mini-schedule (four object classes plus a ruled "Total obligations and expenditures" line). Because it sits under the table's closing rule as part of the footnote rather than as body rows, I folded those five label/amount pairs into the single footnote string, separated by semicolons, instead of adding them to `rows`. The character printed after "distributed as follows" in footnote 1 is a faint raised mark that is almost certainly a colon whose lower dot did not reproduce (it sits high, like a middle dot); I transcribed it as a colon. The last line of the crop, "10 179 NLRB No. 52, infra, pp. 68.", falls below a short separator rule and is footnote 10 of the page's narrative text, not a footnote to this table, so it is excluded from `footnotes`. The typesetting puts a space after each digit-grouping comma ("$31, 349, 579"); these were closed up as instructed. Nothing was computed or corrected, but as a read check the printed figures are internally consistent: the ten object classes sum to the printed subtotal 38,928,247; 38,928,247 + 126,666 = the printed 39,054,913; and the footnote's four items sum to its printed total 24,320.
