The caption carries a raised footnote marker 1 after "Fiscal Year 1968", but the caption is excluded as instructed. Doubtful cells: - "Natl v. Natl" / "Total valid votes cast": the scan renders this as "26," — the final glyph sits at the baseline and reads like a comma rather than a digit. I transcribed it as 261; the printed column total 122,036 and the printed row components (259 + 2 + 0 + 0) both agree with 261, so the mark is almost certainly a degraded "1". - Punctuation dropout: this is a 1-bit scan in which many periods have dropped out. The bottom of the crop cuts section B off after "Natl. v. Local"; the table continues on the next page. The caption carries footnote marker 1, but no footnote text is printed within this crop. Periods: this is a coarse 1-bit scan and small periods drop out unevenly — some "v" separators show a period ("AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO", "Teamsters v. Teamsters", "Natl v. p. 242. COLUMNS: the crop is a continuation page and prints no column headings, so header_rows is empty. I counted 13 numeric columns from the column rules (14 cells per row including the stub). Column placement was verified arithmetically throughout and every check balances: in each row col1 = col2 + col7 + col8 + col13, col2 = col3+col4+col5+col6, col8 = col9+col10+col11+col12; and every column sums correctly into "3 (or more)-union elections", "1-union elections", "2-union elections", "Total RC elections" and "Total RM elections". This gives high confidence that each number sits under the right column. DASH CONVENTION: a cell for a union type that was not a contestant in that row's matchup is printed as a dash rule and is transcribed as "". Printed zeros are kept as 0. SECTION LINE: the centred panel heading reads "C ELECTIONS IN RM CASES". A period after the "C" (matching the "A."/"B." style likely used earlier in the table) is not clearly resolvable at this resolution; transcribed without one. DOUBTFUL CELLS: - Row "AFL-CIO v. Teamsters v Teamsters": a small stray ink speck sits immediately left of the "27" in column 4; it is a scanning artifact, not a footnote marker. AFL-CIO v AFL-CIO v Local": the second "AFL-CIO" on the first printed line renders as "AFL-ClO" in the scan; read as AFL-CIO. - Row labels alternate between "v" and "v." in the original, apparently inconsistently; I kept each as printed, but a few of these period/no-period readings are uncertain at this resolution. They carry no data. CROP: a partially cut line of text is visible at the very bottom edge (consistent with a "See footnotes at end of table" line) but is not legible, so footnotes is empty; any footnote text falls outside the crop. The rotated signature mark "348-205—69——16" in the left margin and the rotated running head at the right edge are excluded as page furniture.

ELECTIONS IN RD CASES" is a centered section banner spanning the table width, transcribed as a label-only row. Blank cells in the body are printed as dash rules (------) and are transcribed as "". The column heading printed "Team- sters" across two lines is joined to "Teamsters"; the stub heading, "Total valid votes cast" and each "Total votes for no union" are tall headings repeated down the levels they span. Row labels "AFL-CIO v. Natl." and "AFL-CIO v. Local" are kept exactly as abbreviated in print. All printed row and column sums are internally consistent (e.g. 9,137 + 4,647 = 13,784; 2,947 + 15 = 2,962), so no misprints are suspected. Scan speckle makes some dots/commas faint, but no digit was ambiguous.
