Excluded from the table are 13 rerun elections which were conducted and subsequently set aside pursuant to sustained objections. The 13 invalid rerun elections were followed by valid rerun elections which are included in the table.

Reader’s notes
p. 234. The scan is a worn letterpress impression in which most decimal points and sentence-ending periods have dropped out, so percentage cells print as e.g. "100 0", "33 7", "66 3". They are decimal fractions (a few cells, such as "34.0" for Stipulated elections / Union certified percent and "100. 0" and "88.9" on the Board-directed elections line, still show the point clearly), so I have restored the decimal point in every percent cell; no digits were altered. Likewise in footnote 2 the period after "sustained objections" and the points in "i.e." are faint or missing in the image and have been restored; footnote 1 ends with no visible period, and none was added. The table has no printed stub heading, so cell 0 of both heading levels is empty. On the "Expedited elections" row every percent cell holds a dash rule (no value) and is transcribed as "", while the four Number cells print a zero. The row label "Regional director-directed elections" is printed over two lines with an end-of-line hyphen ("elec- tions") and has been joined. Minor legibility points, all read with reasonable confidence: the raised 2 on the "Total rerun elections" heading and the raised 1 on the caption/footnote line are small but clear; the word "reversed" in the fourth column heading is lightly inked ("1eversed" in the impression).
