Reader’s notes

p. 232. 17 columns: the stub plus four panels (All R, RC, RM, RD), each with the same four columns under "Elections conducted". These are repeated column groups for different case types, not side-by-side panels with their own stubs, so all 16 value columns are kept on one line per row. The indented "Rerun required" / "Runoff required" sub-rows that follow each type carry a value only in the "Resulting in a rerun or runoff" column of each panel; all their other cells are printed as dash rules and are transcribed as "". Each pair sums to the parent row's rerun-or-runoff figure in every panel, which confirms the column placement. The dotted/dashed fillers in empty cells and the leader dots after row labels were dropped. All printed row and column totals check out arithmetically (row: withdrawn + rerun/runoff + certification = total; column: the five type rows sum to "All types"; and RC + RM + RD = All R in every column), so no misprint is suspected. "Expedited—Sec. 8(b)(7)(C)" uses an em dash as printed. No footnotes are printed beneath the table; the caption line was omitted as instructed.
