Reader’s notes
p. 269. 12 columns: stub, Total proceedings, two columns under "Injunction proceedings", Total dispositions, six columns under "Disposition of injunctions", and the final "Pending in district court June 30, 1967". The stub column carries no printed heading, so header cell 0 is empty on both levels. Footnote marker 1 is printed to the left of the value in the "Under sec. 10(e), total" row (Total proceedings, Filed in district court fiscal year 1967, and Pending June 30, 1967); per convention it is transcribed after the number as 4^1, 4^1 and 2^1. Apparent misprint: in the "Pending in district court June 30, 1967" column the eleven detail rows under 10(l) sum to 6 (8(b)(4)(D)=1, 8(b)(7)(A)=3, 8(b)(7)(C)=1, 8(e)=1) but the printed "Under sec 10(l), total" is 5. The 8(b)(7)(C) row is also internally inconsistent: Total proceedings 12 = 1 pending + 11 filed, yet Total dispositions 12 plus the printed 1 pending at June 30 gives 13; the six disposition columns for that row do add to 12. The suspect cell is 8(b)(7)(C) / Pending in district court June 30, 1967, read as 1 but possibly a 0 with a scan artifact. All other columns and all 10(j) detail rows cross-foot exactly to the printed totals. The 10(l) stub label is printed as "Under sec 10(l), total" with no period after "sec", unlike the 10(e) and 10(j) lines; transcribed as printed. Minor specks appear in the 8(a)(1)(3) Granted cell and near the 8(b)(7)(C) Pending July 1, 1966 cell but the digits themselves (3 and 1) are legible. The 8(b)(3) Granted cell shows a stray mark before the digit 1; read as 1.
