The crop shows only the first page of the table: the body ends after Kansas (a new section rule begins at the bottom edge, so the South Atlantic and later divisions are on the following page), and no footnote text is printed on this image even though the stub heading carries a raised "1" marker. Column count is 17; the division rows (New England, Middle Atlantic, East North Central, West North Central) are subtotal lines printed flush left, the state rows indented beneath them. Doubtful cells: Connecticut, "Valid votes cast for unions / Total" is printed with a stray ink mark before the digits (reads like ".2,926"); transcribed as 2,926, which is consistent with 2,505+279+66+76 and with 2,926+3,153=6,079. The stub heading reads "Division and State" followed by a small raised 1. Internal arithmetic checks pass throughout: in every row the election columns satisfy Total = won + none-chosen and the four union components sum to the "won by unions" Total, and the vote columns satisfy valid votes cast = union votes + no-union votes with the four union components summing to the union Total. State rows also sum to their division subtotals in the election columns. No misprints detected.

p. 260. Continuation page: no column headings are printed on this crop, so header_rows is empty. The grid is 17 columns (stub + 16 data columns), separated by rules after data column 6, after data column 7, and before the last data column. Two problem cells: 1. Nevada, data column 6: I read the printed glyph as "1" and transcribed it as printed, but it is doubtful. Every other cell in the table satisfies the table's internal identities (col2 = col3+col4+col5+col6; col1 = col2+col7; col10 = col11+col12+col13+col14; col9 = col10+col15; and each region line equals the sum of its States). With Nevada col6 = 1, two of those fail: Nevada's own row gives 15+8+0+1 = 24 against the printed col2 of 23, and the Mountain column 6 total of 2 is one short of the States' sum of 3. Both would reconcile if the cell were 0. Nevada's other cells (43, 23, 15, 8, 0, 20) are each confirmed by the Mountain column totals, so the discrepancy is isolated to this one cell: either the scan glyph is degraded or the report misprinted it. 2. South Atlantic, last data column (16): printed as 45,699, but the nine South Atlantic States in that column sum to 45,799 (489 + 11,327 + 1,035 + 6,172 + 3,358 + 5,860 + 1,405 + 9,975 + 6,178), a difference of exactly 100. The regional totals in that column for East South Central, West South Central, Mountain, Pacific and Outlying Areas all equal their States' sums exactly, so this is the only column-16 mismatch. Transcribed as printed; the error is either a misprint in the regional total or a hundreds digit (6 vs 7, or one State's value) lost in this 1-bit scan. The whole-row and other-column checks for South Atlantic all tie out, so the suspect value lies in column 16 alone. Minor: stray ink specks sit beside Mississippi column 14 ("0"), Arkansas column 13 ("0") and Nevada column 2 ("23"); these are not footnote markers and were ignored. No footnote markers appear anywhere in the body; the footnote 1 marker belongs to the table title, which is not on this crop.
