Last row, "AFL-CIO v Teamsters v Natl.", final column (elections lost / Total votes for no union): no character is legible there in the crop, so it is transcribed as "". The other cells of that row (1,212 + 10 + 0 + 0) imply a printed 0, but nothing was visible, possibly because of the crop edge. Section line: printed as "A" followed by a wide space and "ALL REPRESENTATION ELECTIONS"; a period after "A" may be present but is not legible, so it is transcribed without one. Row-label punctuation is inconsistent in the original: some labels print "v" without a period ("AFL-CIO v Teamsters") and others "v." ("AFL-CIO v. Natl."); I transcribed each as it appears. p. 256. Grid is 14 columns (stub + 13 numeric), counted from the column rules and confirmed by the "Total RC elections" row, which fills all 13. No column headings are printed on this crop, so header_rows is empty. The crop opens in mid-table: the first seven rows are the tail of the preceding section (the "3 (or more)-union elections" block of the section that ends just above the "B ELECTIONS IN RC CASES" rule) and are continued from the previous page; the section line "B ELECTIONS IN RC CASES" is transcribed as a label-only row. As printed, those seven carry-over rows repeat verbatim — same labels and same 13 values — as the last seven rows of section B. That duplication is in the source, not a transcription slip; I did not alter it. Column placement was checked arithmetically throughout section B and every check passes: within each block, col1 = col2 + col7 + col8 + col13; col2 = cols 3+4+5+6 and col8 = cols 9+10+11+12 (the four sub-columns are AFL-CIO, Teamsters, other national, other local, in that order); each detail row sums to its block subtotal in all 13 columns; and the three block subtotals sum to "Total RC elections" in all 13 columns. The top-panel carry-over rows could not be cross-footed (their subtotals are on the previous page), so their right-hand 0/blank pattern was taken from their verified section-B twins; they read identically on the image. Punctuation in the row labels is uneven in the scan — the period after "v"/"v." drops out on several lines (e.g. "AFL-CIO v Natl", "Teamsters v Teamsters", "Natl v. Local"), and the same row can show it in one panel and not the other ("AFL-CIO v Local v. Local" at the top vs. "AFL-CIO v. Local v. Local" in section B). Labels are transcribed as each line reads; the difference is scan dropout, not two different labels. A short footnote rule is printed at the lower left below the last row, but no footnote text falls inside the crop.

The footnote marker 1 appears in the caption, but no footnote text is printed on this crop, so `footnotes` is empty. Right-edge clipping: in the "Total RM elections" row the last column ("Valid votes cast in elections lost / Total votes for no union") is shaved by the crop and its final digit is only partly inked; I read 5,749. Arithmetic confirms it: 6,761 + 1,760 + 1,920 + 5,749 = 16,190, and the column sums 5,467 + 282 = 5,749. Bottom edge: the crop ends immediately below the "Local v Local" row, whose digits are slightly clipped at the baseline but legible. The table may continue below this crop (e.g. further 2-union pairings or a 3-or-more-union section); nothing beyond "Local v Local" is visible here. Row-label punctuation transcribed as printed: "AFL-CIO v Natl.", "Natl. v Local" and "Local v Local" show no period after "v", while "AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO", "AFL-CIO v. Teamsters", "AFL-CIO v. Local" and "Teamsters v. Local" do. This is likely period dropout in the scan rather than a real distinction. Scan-shape reads resolved by arithmetic: "Other national unions" won-no-union prints like "14S" but is 143 (355 + 143 + 96 + 128 = 722); "1-union elections" lost-no-union prints like "5,467" with a soft 4 (3,706 + 1,695 + 1,843 + 5,467 = 12,711); "AFL-CIO" won-no-union 1,220 and "Local v Local" won-no-union 15 likewise check out. The grid has 14 columns (stub + 13 data columns), read from the vertical rules: a heavy rule after the stub, then col 1 (grand total), cols 2-6 (a subtotal in col 2 with its four-way breakdown in cols 3-6: AFL-CIO, Teamsters, national, local), a rule, col 7, cols 8-12 (a subtotal in col 8 with the same four-way breakdown in cols 9-12), a heavy rule, then col 13. "D. ELECTIONS IN RD CASES" is printed centered inside the table frame as a section line; it is transcribed as a label-only row. The superscript 1 footnote marker is not visible anywhere on this crop — it presumably attaches to the table caption or to column headings printed on an earlier page. In the "Total RD elections" row there is a small stray ink mark in the gutter immediately left of 3,064 (last column).
