p. 251. CROP IS INCOMPLETE. The image ends immediately after "Local v. Local v. Local"; the table continues below the crop. Evidence: the "3 (or more)-union elections" subtotal (57 elections, 52 won) exceeds the sum of the nine detail rows shown here (54 elections, 49 won) by exactly 3 elections, all won — so roughly three further detail rows of that group are cut off. Section "B." (and any further panels) is likewise not shown. FOOTNOTES NOT VISIBLE. No footnote text appears in the crop, so `footnotes` is empty, even though two markers are referenced: a raised 1 on the caption (caption excluded per instructions) and a raised 2 on the "Total elections" column heading, transcribed as "Total elections^2". SCAN DROPOUTS REPAIRED (1-bit scan loses sub-pixel punctuation): - Decimal points in the "Percent won" column are faint or invisible on most rows (printed e.g. "59 0", "56 2", "100 0", "88 9"). I transcribed them with the decimal point ("59.0", "56.2", "100.0", "88.9"), which every percentage confirms arithmetically (e.g. 4,791/8,116 = 59.0; 8/9 = 88.9). - The period after "v" is missing or faint in several stub labels as printed: "Teamsters v Teamsters", "Natl v Natl", "Natl v Local", "Local v Local v. Local". I wrote "v." uniformly to match the rest of the column; the form actually inked on those four rows is "v" without a period. OTHER READING NOTES: - Blank value cells are printed as dash-leader rules ("------"); transcribed as "". - Printed zeros are retained as 0, including the two genuine zeros in "AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO v. Natl" (Elections won by unions / Other national unions, and Employees / In units won by / Other national unions). - In "AFL-CIO v. Teamsters", the "Elections won by unions / Other national unions" cell carries a small speck above the dash leader that could be mistaken for a glyph; it is empty (84 + 115 = 199 printed total won). - Every other value was cross-checked: within each row the four union columns sum to "Total won", "Total won" + "no representative chosen" = "Total elections", the four "In units won by" columns sum to "In elections won", and "In elections won" + "In elections where no representative chosen" = "Total" employees; and the 1-union, 2-union and 3-or-more subtotals sum to the "Total representation elections" line. All of these reconcile exactly, so no misprint is suspected in the portion shown.

p. 252. No column headings are printed on this crop (continuation page), so header_rows is empty. The grid has 16 columns: stub plus 15 data columns, counted from the column rules and confirmed against every row. Two cells are doubtful, both a possible 3/8 confusion in this 1-bit scan; I transcribed them as I read them, but arithmetic points the other way in both cases: 1. Row "1-union elections", 4th data column: I read "2,892". The only sub-row contributing to that column is "AFL-CIO" = 2,392, and the column also reconciles with "Total RC elections" = 2,760 only as 2,392 + 346 + 22. The printed figure is most likely 2,392. 2. Row "AFL-CIO v. AFL-CIO v. Local", 14th data column (other local unions' votes): I read "3,188". Both the row check (4,988 - 1,850) and the column check against the "3 (or more)-union elections" subtotal 3,940 give 3,138. Every other cell reconciles: all three block subtotals sum correctly to "Total RC elections" in all 15 columns, each row's votes split sums to its union-votes total, and all printed percentages match their own row's ratio. The row label "AFL-CIO v Natl" (2-union block) is printed without the period after "v", unlike the surrounding "v." labels; transcribed as printed. The first three rows continue a section (part A) that began on the preceding page; their section heading is not on this crop. "B. ELECTIONS IN RC CASES" is a centred section line carrying no values. The right margin shows the running head "Appendix A" and the page number 239, both excluded. The line "See footnotes at end of table." sits at the very bottom edge and is slightly clipped but legible; it carries no footnote marker.

p. 254. The crop continues a table from earlier pages and prints no column headings, so header_rows is empty. The body has 15 numeric columns (16 with the stub), counted from the vertical column rules: columns 1-8 form the left panel (number of elections, percent, elections won total, then won by AFL-CIO / Teamsters / other national / other local, then elections lost), separated by a heavy double rule from columns 9-15 (valid votes cast total, votes for unions total, then votes for AFL-CIO / Teamsters / other national / other local, then votes against). Those column meanings are inferred from the arithmetic, not read from this crop. "D. ELECTIONS IN RD CASES" is centered above the table's top rule; I kept it as a section row with no values rather than treating it as a caption, since sections A-C of the same table appear on the preceding pages. Many cells are filled by long dash rules spanning several empty columns; these are transcribed as "". Where a dash rule runs across a row, the placement of the isolated numbers inside it (e.g. 966 in the Teamsters row, 999 in the AFL-CIO v. Teamsters row, 291 in the AFL-CIO v.
