Reader’s notes
p. 245. Eleven columns: stub plus five two-column panels (All R, RC, RM, RD, UD cases), each with "Number of cases" and "Percent of cases closed". Several decimal points in the percent columns are faint or dropped out in the scan, so they read as a space: "100 0" (RC and UD, total row), "68 1" (RM, before issuance of notice of hearing), "31 6" (RC) and "18 3" (RM) on the "After issuance of notice of hearing" row, "0 8" (RC, after hearing closed), and "16 6" (All R, after issuance of regional director's decision). All of these are one-decimal percentages and each panel's percents sum to 100.0, so they are transcribed with the decimal point restored; no digits are in doubt. In the UD "Percent of cases closed" column, the "After hearing closed, before issuance of decision" and "After issuance of Board decision" rows carry a dash rule (leader/dash fill) against a printed 0 in the number column; those percent cells are given as "". The caption carries footnote marker 1 ("Fiscal Year 1967 1"), which is excluded with the caption; the footnote itself is retained. Arithmetic check (not altered in the grid): every panel's case counts sum to its printed total and every panel's percents sum to 100.0.
