Miscellaneous Litigation Involving NLRB; Outcome of Proceedings in Which Court Decisions Issued in Fiscal Year 1966

p. 238. Ten columns: the stub plus three court panels (Total—all courts, In courts of appeals, In district courts), each with "Number decided" and a two-column "Court determination" group. "Number decided" is a tall heading spanning the two lower heading levels, so it is repeated in both. No footnotes are printed under the table. Three rows carry the label "Other" (one under NLRB-initiated actions, two under Action by other parties); they are distinct rows and are transcribed as printed. The rows "To restrain NLRB from" and "To compel NLRB to" are printed with their labels ending in a preposition, as shown. Doubtful glyphs: in the "Issue complaint" row the last cell (In district courts / Contrary to Board position) is a badly inked character that could read as 9; I transcribe it as 0 because the column of subrows under "To compel NLRB to" must and does sum to the printed 0 in that cell, and the companion "Seek injunction" row prints the same shape more clearly as 0. There is a stray ink dot in the left margin of the "In district courts / Number decided" column on the "To restrain dissipation of assets by respondent" row; it is not a digit or a footnote marker, and that cell is 0. Arithmetic check (not used to alter any cell): every subtotal and the grand total add correctly down and the three panels add across, so no misprint is suspected.
