Reader’s notes
p. 212. 15 columns: stub plus seven case-type panels (All C, CA, CB, CC, CD, CE, CP), each with a "Number of cases" and a "Percent of cases closed" column. Decimal points: in this scan the period in many percent figures did not reproduce, so cells print as e.g. "100 0", "82 3", "0 6", "2 8". Other cells in the same columns show the period clearly ("84.5", "7.4", "87.2", "0.8", "4.6"). The figures are one-decimal percentages throughout, so I have written every percent with a decimal point (e.g. "100 0" -> "100.0"). No digits were changed. Dash cells: the percent cells rendered "" are printed as a dash rule ("--------") in the image, at CD/CE/CP for "After hearing opened...", CD/CE for "After trial examiner's decision...", and CE/CP for "After Supreme Court action". Their matching "Number of cases" cells print a literal 0 and are transcribed as 0. Arithmetic check (not a correction, just a confidence check): every panel's eight stage figures sum exactly to its printed total, the percents in each panel sum to 100.0, and the six case-type totals sum to the All C total of 15,587. No misprints detected. The stub heading "Stage of disposition" spans both heading levels and is repeated in each. In the All C panel the heading word "closed" is set with a gap ("close d"); transcribed as "closed". The caption carries footnote marker 1 ("...Fiscal Year 1966 1"), which is the reference for the single footnote; the caption itself is omitted per instructions.
