0 of 6 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 229. The table has two printed columns: the stub "Action taken" and "Total cases closed". The first body row is printed with no row label at all (it sits in its own band between the heading rule and the itemized rows) and carries only the value 12; it is evidently the unlabeled total, and its stub cell is transcribed as "". The five itemized values (4, 2, 2, 2, 2) sum to 12, consistent with that reading. The scan is speckled and several stray marks fall in the body area to the left of the figures (e.g. beside the "Unresolved" and "Dismissed" rows); these are scanning artifacts, not digits, as the table has only one value column. The footnote marker 1 in the caption is not transcribed because captions are excluded.
