0 of 15 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 229. Six printed columns: stub, Total, and four columns under "Number of cases" / "Identification of petitioner". The stub has no printed heading (the space above the row labels is blank apart from scan speckle), so the stub cells of the header rows are empty. "Total" is a tall heading spanning all three heading levels and is repeated down them. The entire "Courts" column is dash rules in all five rows, transcribed as "". In "State boards", the dash rules fall on the "Received fiscal 1965" and "Pending June 30, 1965" rows; the "1" entries sit on "Pending July 1, 1964", "On docket fiscal 1965" and "Closed fiscal 1965". Because the dash rules print low, near the baseline of the following line, the row assignment in the State boards column is the one judgement call in this crop; it is the reading consistent with the printed totals (4 = 2+1+1, 8 = 4+4, 12 = 6+5+1 for both "On docket" and "Closed"). "Employer" and "Union" in the "Pending June 30, 1965" row are also dash rules, with Total printed as 0. The page is a 1-bit scan with speckle and stray marks (a smudge in the caption, specks in the heading band and in the body between columns); none of these were read as characters. No part of the table is cut off by the crop.
