Dash rules ("------") are transcribed as "". They occur in the Union-shop deauthorization block (every column except Total and Individuals, all five rows) and in the "Pending July 1, 1964" rows of the Amendment of certification and Unit clarification blocks (all seven value columns). Footnote marker 1 is not printed anywhere inside this crop; it presumably attaches to the table caption, which is above the crop. The superscript markers on "Unfair labor practice cases" and "Representation cases" are small raised figures; the latter is typeset in a style that can read as an 8 but is a 3, matching the footnote list. Every row's six filing-party figures sum exactly to the printed Total, and the five case-type blocks sum exactly to the "All cases" block, so no internal inconsistency was found.
