Verification: I summed each of the 11 circuit rows against the "Total all circuits" line. Every Number column reconciles exactly (244, 863, 134, 452, 53, 182, 10, 56, 3, 44, 156) EXCEPT one: in "Affirmed in part and remanded / Cumulative fiscal years 1960-64 / Number" the circuit entries sum to 18 (5+2+0+0+3+1+1+1+1+0+4) while the printed total is 17. Transcribed as printed; the discrepancy is in the source or in one doubtful cell (see next note). Doubtful cells: - Row "7", "Affirmed in part and remanded / Cumulative ... / Number" and "... / Percent": read as 1 and 0. The percent 0 is inconsistent with 1 of 87 (=1%), and this is also the row that would resolve the 17-vs-18 total above if the printed number were 0. The glyph aligns with the "1"s in rows 6, 8 and 9, so I transcribed 1, but this pair is the least certain in the table. - Row "Total all circuits", "Modified / Fiscal year 1964 / Percent": printed 24; 53/244 = 21.7%, which would round to 22. The glyph matches the "24" printed in rows 2 and D.C. (both correct there), so I read it as 24 and flag it as a probable misprint. - Row "Total all circuits", "Remanded in full / Fiscal year 1964 / Percent": printed 2; 10/244 = 4.1%, which would round to 4. Single-digit glyph read as 2; probable misprint in the source. - Row "8", "Affirmed in full / Fiscal year 1964 / Percent": the leading digit is broken in the scan and could be read as "11"; 7/17 = 41% and the stroke is consistent with a degraded 4, so transcribed as 41. - Row "3", "Affirmed in full / Fiscal year 1964 / Number": the "5" sits high and is faint; read as 15, confirmed by the column summing to 134. - Row "Total all circuits", "Affirmed in part and remanded / Fiscal year 1964 / Number": the "3" is faint/italic-looking; confirmed by the column sum (0+1+0+0+0+0+0+0+0+0+2 = 3). - Stub label of the last row is printed "D C."
