The crop ends after "Miscellaneous manufacturing" at a closing rule; the table continues on the following page(s) with the nonmanufacturing industrial groups and a grand-total section, and no footnote texts are printed within this crop even though markers 1 (caption) and 2 (stub heading "Industrial group") are used, so `footnotes` is empty. Column 4 ("Other national unions", elections won) of the "Total, all industrial groups" row is printed as "294," with a stray trailing comma and no following digits; I transcribed it as 294, which is also what the row reconciles to (2,685 + 1,146 + 294 + 171 + 3,233 = 7,529). Every data row was checked for internal consistency and all agree as printed: the four "won by" columns plus "no representative chosen" sum to "Total elections", and the five "Valid votes cast for—" columns sum to "Total valid votes cast". No misprints were detected beyond the stray comma noted above. The scan is a 1-bit halftone in which the letter "i" frequently loses its dot (e.g. "Industrial", "elections", "affiliates", "machinery"); I have restored normal spelling in the labels and headings. The caption itself also shows a broken word ("Representatio n"), but captions are excluded from this output.

Rows are grouped by double rules into industry divisions (Mining with its four components; Construction/Wholesale trade/Retail trade/Finance; Transportation, communication, and other public utilities with its six components; Services with its seven components). Division lines (Mining, Construction, ..., Services) are set flush left and the component lines are indented; all of them carry values, so there are no label-only section rows. Doubtful cells: (1) "Coal mining", column 2 — the cell reads as a small dash followed by 0; I read it as the printed value 0 with a stray leader-dot/dash mark to its left. (2) "Other transportation", column 5 — the digit 2 carries a stray ink mark above it; read as 2. (3) "Communication", column 11 — a stray apostrophe-like mark sits before 580; read as 580. (4) "Nonprofit membership organizations", last column — the second digit is broken and could read as b; read as 16, consistent with the 16 in columns 7 and 8 of the same row. Punctuation in the footnotes is faint in the scan: the sentence-ending period after "RD cases" in footnote 1 and the colon after "Source" in footnote 2 are not clearly visible (they appear as wide gaps); I have written them as the intended punctuation. A printer's signature mark runs vertically in the left margin ("761-542—65——14"); it is not part of the table and is omitted. The table continues from the preceding page, so the earlier industry divisions and any totals are not on this crop.
