24 of 24 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 189. 15 columns: stub plus three spanner groups (Number of polls = 5 columns, Employees involved = 5 columns, Valid votes cast = 4 columns). Decimal points: the scan's periods in the percent columns are nearly dropped out, so the cells read as e.g. "71 1" on the image. They are one-decimal percentages and are transcribed with the decimal point ("71.1"). The same applies to the "Sec." abbreviation in the footnote, where the period is faint. Column assignment of the last two Valid-votes-cast columns was checked against the arithmetic: in each row the value under "Number" divided by "Total eligible" matches the value under "Percent of total eligible^1" (e.g. 2,050/3,886 = 52.8). All row and column totals in the table are internally consistent (25+20=45, 2,525+265=2,790, 2,525+860=3,385, etc.), so no misprint is suspected. "AFL-CIO" is printed with an en-dash between AFL and CIO; written here with a plain hyphen. The "Total" row label is indented in the stub relative to the two affiliation rows.
