Reader’s notes
p. 185. 15 columns: stub plus seven case-type panels (All C, CA, CB, CC, CD, CE, CP), each with a "Number of cases" and a "Percent of cases closed" column. "All C cases" is the only column heading without the raised 1 marker. Decimal points in the percent columns are very faint or broken in this scan — many read as a gap (e.g. "100 0", "86 1", "5 9"). The table prints percentages to one decimal throughout and the point is clearly visible in several cells (84.7, .6, .9, .2, .0), so I have restored the decimal point in every percent cell. The digits themselves are legible and unambiguous. Row "Before issuance of complaint", CD "Number of cases": printed as a small raised 3 immediately before 314; transcribed as 314^3 (footnote marker, not part of the number). Zero entries in the percent columns are printed inconsistently in the source: the CD column shows a bare "0" while the CE column shows ".0" in the "After intermediate report" and "After Board order adopting" rows. These are transcribed as they appear; the distinction is at the limit of legibility at this scan resolution. Row "After hearing opened, before issuance of intermediate report", CD percent: reads as a lone "9" with a faint leading point; transcribed ".9" (consistent with 3 of 325). Footnote sentence-ending periods and the period in "sec. 10(k)" are faint/absent in the scan; restored per normal typography.
