18 of 18 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 31. The crop is a chart (Chart 11, "BOARD CASE BACKLOG"), not a conventional table; what is transcribed is the data table printed below the bar chart. The year headings 1958-1963 are the chart's x-axis labels, which sit directly above the data table and serve as its column headings; "PROCEEDINGS" is printed at the left above the row labels and is taken as the stub heading. (The same word "PROCEEDINGS" also appears at the top left of the chart as the y-axis unit label; that occurrence is not part of the table.) In the stub, the labels C and R are each preceded by a legend swatch - a horizontally hatched block for C and a solid black block for R - which are graphics, not text, and are therefore omitted. The 1963 axis label is printed with a stray vertical rule immediately before it ("|1963"), apparently a broken grid line or ink artifact rather than a character; transcribed as 1963. All six column sums are internally consistent (C + R = TOTALS). The bar chart above and the running body text, page number and running head below are excluded.
